Q: I have heard that mineral makeup does not give good coverage. Can KmS Mineral Foundation really give me complete coverage?
A: Absolutely! KmS Mineral Essentials Foundation covers a wide range of skin imperfections, including sun spots, rosacea, skin discolorations and acne. You can apply as much as or as little as you like to achieve the look of flawless, beautiful bare skin. A great application brush is key. Remember to use the Kabuki brush for light coverage, an application brush for medium coverage, and a flat brush for maximum coverage.
A: A couple of things. First you will want to make sure your skin is moisturized before applying your foundation. Mineral powder is applied dry, and your skin may feel drier if your skin is not moisturized prior to use. Secondly, a good application brush is essential to acheive the ultimate cosmetic finish. We offer our standard application brush for medium coverage, our kabuki brush for light coverage, and our flat brush for maximum coverage.
Q: What is the difference between eye color and eye pigments?
A: Eye Color Pigments are very concentrated as compared to regular powder eye shadows so they produce a very intense color. The formulation also adheres to the eyelids better than conventional eye shadows that contain talc and cornstarch.
A: Yes. Because traditional makeup is made of talc and/or cornstarch, it can settle into lines on your skin. Mineral Foundation has a creamy texture that blends onto your skin flawlessly and will not settle into lines and wrinkles. In fact, KmS Mineral Foundation's unique, natural luminosity actually refracts light away from lines and wrinkles, softening the look of your skin.
Q: Does KmS offer sun protection?
A: Yes! Our mineral foundation contains natural UVA/UVB sun protection equal to an SPF of 15.
A: Yes, Mineral Foundation is made of pure micronized minerals. The key ingredient Zinc Oxide is known for it's protective, healing benefits. Mineral Foundation is recommended by dermatologists and other skin care professionals and is perfect for a range of skin conditions including acne, rosacea, sensitive skin, dry and oily skin.
A: Our cosmetics do not harbor bacteria like most brands because of our natural ingredients, thus the shelf life is indefinite!
Q: I have used Bare Minerals/Bare Escentuals in the past. How does KmS compare?
A: We have also used Bare Minerals in the past. Our products compare in every way to Bare Minerals/Bare Escentuals in that it covers well, has a built-in spf, is waterproof and sweat proof, and is an all-natural product. The major difference is that our cosmetics do not contain Bismuth Oxychloride found in Bare Minerals. Bismuth is a natural form of arsenic lead and a known skin irritant. In most cases it causes breakouts and/or irritation for those with sensitive skin and acne. It has also caused irritation to those who are not normally skin sensitive. Additionally, KmS is more cost effective than Bare Minerals.
Q: I have very oily skin. Will KmS be able to stay put throughout the day?
A: Absolutely! KmS Mineral Essentials foundation and mineral veil contain Kaolin Clay which is a wonderful oil absorber. Your makeup will stay on until you take it off. For ultimate oil control, apply our mineral veil underneath your foundation as well as on top to prevent oily breakthrough.
Q: Can I sleep in this makeup?
A: Yes you can! Like the leading brand, our makeup is so pure, you can sleep in it. :)
Q: What is the best way to mix shades to create another one?
A: There are so many possibilities when mixing mineral shades and it can be a lot of fun in the process. I like to begin with equal parts of each to create a balance. Keeping in mind the darker shade will be dominant, I might make adjustments by adding less of the darker shade if equal parts do not create the result I desire.
Q: Does KmS have a guarantee?
A: We are committed to the satisfaction of our clients. If there is an order issue, we will do whatever it takes to resolve it by mailing additional products if necessary with our compliments. If there is nothing we can do to resolve a product issue, or if our clients experience sensitivity to our product, we will cheerfully refund the purchase cost of the product(s) less shipping. **Please note: refunds are not available on used professional makeup brushes. If brushes are returned, they must be returned unused in the original packaging.
